Approximately 10 million people live with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases around the world. Many of these people are young adults, but there are no organizations that have emphasized the need to connect our age group.
That's why we're here.
It all started when two teenagers, Cory Lane and Sneha Dave, had the idea to bridge the disconnect between young adults with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. When Cory passed away in May 2012, Sneha felt the need to keep moving forward with this project. Through their own diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, they started an international online platform.
Formerly the Crohn’s and Colitis Teen Times, the Crohn’s and Colitis Young Adults aims to create more initiatives and reach out to include a broader age group around the world. Check out our initiatives.
